Claudia Bodan is Los Angeles Market President for Commercial Bank of California. She has been in the banking industry for 23 years and her professional career has been dedicated to helping business entrepreneurs grow their business by being advisory in providing flexible and creative solutions to meet their business needs.
She is passionate in serving the business and philanthropic community and is a well-respected leader given her past and continuous community contributions. In 2016 she was awarded the Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers award by The Hispanic’s Association on Corporate Responsibility in addition to The Access to Capital Banker of the Year Award by the Department of Commerce and is also a recipient of the Dulcenia Award for her leadership endeavors in the Finance Community. She has served as President to the National Latina Business Women’s Association Los Angeles Chapter, California State President for DECA/DEX a marketing organization designed to help college students develop their business community skills and is a current board member of USC Latino Alumni Association and chairs The Los Angeles Latino Business Chamber of Commerce Advisory Board. Miss Bodan has sat on numerous boards and committees such as HOPE, NAWBO LA, LA Minority Business Opportunity Center, BizFed, LAEDC, and others. She is a servant leader who is an active member and volunteer of many community and business organizations throughout LA.
Claudia is a native of Nicaragua and moved to the US at the age of five. She has since lived in Los Angeles and received a BS from the University of Southern California, majoring in corporate finance and business administration. Claudia’s personal interest include: empowering women/young girls, spending time with her two children, having a passion for theatrical productions, golfing and volunteering out in the community.
