Commercial Bank of California’s Compassion Committee to Participate in Susan G. Komen Los Angeles Walk

Our Commercial Bank of California Compassion Committee will be participating in the 2020 Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County “MORE THAN PINK” Walk on February 29. This will be the first event that the Compassion Committee has been a part of in since their founding in January 2020. The team has been actively fundraising to help the organization continue to fight breast cancer.

Founded in 1982, nonprofit foundation Susan G. Komen is the largest breast cancer organization in the United States. Nancy G. Brinker, Susan G. Komen’s sister, created the foundation after her sister’s passing with the belief that educating and researching the disease with awareness and action from the community is the best way to fight breast cancer. Any fundraising at events like the LA Walk goes directly to research and discoveries, improving the quality of care for breast cancer patients and families, supporting the community affected by this disease and advocating for funding and action amongst government policymakers and affected persons.

Our CBC team is compassionate about the work that the foundation is doing and has dedicated their time and effort to contribute to the cause.
